Exactly, you never hear about inner-city schools being shot up. Schools in high crime/gang violence areas are untouched because the nearest Police station might only be a block or two away, unlike in rural areas where the closest cop can be a half hour or so from responding. Those who conduct these shootings are cowards who rely on being the only person in the situation with a weapon, you put someone else, someone better trained with a weapon in the same building and it'll ruin their day.

We all know that our military men are coming home and not being able to find jobs, well I feel that it would be a worthy cause to have those men who have protected our country to be stationed at a school to protect our children. Think about it.. if every school had at least one armed guard at the door then crazy people would not have such an easy time attacking them. Our military men and woman would have jobs and our schools would be safer. If inner city schools can have armed guards and train stations can have armed guards why can’t our little sitting duck schools in the middle of nowhere have armed guards? those are the ones getting attacked.
